IWPG (International Women’s Peace Group) Global Region 2, led by Regional Director SeoYeon Lee, held an online meeting with Josiane Hajj Moussa, Chief Editor of Beirut Times, a magazine reaching audiences in Arab and European nations through regional Arabic channels and platforms.

During the exchange few days ago, IWPG’s peace initiatives were presented, focusing on expanding cooperation with Beirut Times, particularly through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA). Discussions also covered the Peace Lecturer Training Education (PLTE) program, designed to equip peace advocates and foster a broader peace culture.

Josiane Hajj Moussa praised IWPG’s peace efforts, noting, “I am moved by IWPG’s vision and its tangible actions to promote peace across racial and national boundaries.” She also expressed her commitment to participating in the PLTE program to inspire women with the spirit of peace.

IWPG, a global NGO with ECOSOC and DGC registration, has 114 branches across 122 countries and works with over 730 partner organizations. Its mission, “achieving sustainable world peace,” is pursued through women’s peace education, the promotion of peace culture, and support for the “Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War” (DPCW) legislation.
